How do I add a driving licence and who sees my data?
Licence front, phone upload and reviewing your details.
Open the driving-licence section in My account and add a clear front photo only. On a phone, take a picture or select one from your gallery. The desktop QR code opens a temporary phone upload link; it expires after 15 minutes and must not be shared.
The system tries to read the photo. Always review your name, birth date, categories, expiry and other requested details before confirming. Enter any missing fields manually. Recognition does not prove document authenticity or driving entitlement.
- The owner sees your name, calculated age and confirmed driving categories with the request. Your email and phone are revealed only after successful payment.
- The owner is not shown your licence photo, personal identifier, exact birth date or document number. The photo remains in YourCamper’s private file storage and confirmed details in its database.
- Bring your valid original driving licence to pickup. The owner checks the document in person.
